Our Story

Coffee worth driving through for

Black Maple Coffee was founded in April 2014 by Emily Morton with a simple goal: bring great coffee to small towns. Canton, Illinois needed a spot where quality and convenience came together — and Black Maple became exactly that.

What started as a single hut has grown to five locations across Central Illinois — drive-thrus in Canton, Farmington, and Lewistown, and cafés in Havana, Lewistown, and Elmwood.

Something for everyone: exceptional quality, genuine kindness, and fast service — every visit, every location.
